Just tried the world stove design that Stephen Coote posted about a few years back and it works like a charm.
I wanted a more bullet proof inner tin that was a bit thicker than a fruit tin can so i managed to find a smaller nesting styled Stainless Steel chopstick holder at a $2 store and surprise to my eyes, it was pre drilled with drainer type holes ( although vertically so could be too much air flow ) and nestled nicely inside a stainless steel coffee tin.

Hi Kesate. Sorry for the very late reply mate. I have been out of circulation for awhile. My weekends belong to my temporary job so I only get out in the bush on the odd 1/2 day once in awhile. I am expecting a new job soon and more weekend time. Some time in summer would be good to do a bush outing mate. How about you? I have learned not to promise too early though because I am still a bit fluid at the moment.
