Event Description

Hi yall. There is a get together happening in the Waikato for Navigation Practice. I am out of practice and looking forward to re-skilling. Anyone from any area should come regardless of experience and we can teach ourselves if need be.

This would be a great time to meet up with others on this site, get in some outdoors time and experience, test out some of our kit (and our fire making skills for a hot brew during the breaks). Dates are not yet confirmed so can be adjusted for the group.

We are considering a day or two between 27th Dec and 7th Jan. I can provide a map for any area we go into, that the group can share.

I think it may be best to cancel the Navigation Practice due to the current weather conditions which are expected to continue to late morning tomorrow.

Even if the weather eases off as predicted we will still be in for a wet, windy and muddy morning at the least. Not the best for focusing in on the learning.

Apologies for the cancellation fellas. I would like to hook up a Saturday in a few weeks if that still works for you.
