I have loved n actually still do nature around the world. Unfortunately I had been stuck for a time in NZ and more then ready to explore the world more on various trips now as I can afford to journey off. I have other photos which Ill be adding as I have time n their priority arises.
For now in search of a new home, a new used car n a short course to take all new this week to attend to amongst the interesting n not so day to day.
Playing with my dog, exploring in nature more in the area-though I know most of it too well, working in my 7 m greenhouse of edibles n medicinals, working on music for a new cd are my favorites at present n finding some fols to share bush craft with.

From reading below I see that you are sharing with your daughter which is wonderful.
Ive had incredable experiences instructing people of all ages over the years including children who most were so into immersing themselves into what myself n other instructors were sharing with them.

I think you are on the right track with aiming to teach your daughter outdoor skills. I think they are important from a safety point of view but even more and part of general creativity, confidence and fun!
Why dont you join the BushcraftNZ library (under groups tab above) and have a look at the books we have to borrow. If any catch your eye, PM me your address and I will send them off for you to borrow, free of course!
The short story "The Trapper" will be great to read to her when she is a little older, it was even written by a member of the site Stephen Coote!
