Waterproofing matches

Heys guys,

Most of you probably know about this but I just thought I'd share.

Wet matches are practically useless as you can't get a flame but you can waterproof your matches.

Dip them in candle wax and let it try around the match and they will be waterproof!

I have found that you need to peel the wax off again when you want to strike them but it still works a treat.

Has anyone else used this method and what did you think of it?

I've used nail polish. Works a treat and you don't have to peel off
