Catapult elastic?

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to find some suitable catapult elastic. I'm currently using two strips of inner tube, which work passably, but they're hardly powerful. 

I've done some research, and it seems that gold Therabands are the best choice. However, they're kind of pricy, and hard to find in NZ, so is there anything else that would work almost as well?

Thanks for the link, Joe. Are you sure they ship to NZ? It doesn't say anywhere, and it can only calculate shipping within the US.

On Trademe, look for Sanctband and get the grey one. You'll need a roller-cutter or gilloutine to cut it into bands.

I have Tex latex, Dankung tubes and Theraband Gold on the way. One I'm keen to try is 105 rubber bands from Waugh Rubber in Wellington.
