"Groups" are a great way to bring people together on the network that
have a specific interest. They come equipped with their own discussion
forum, RSS reader, text
box and comment wall, and several privacy settings. They allow group
members to group message each other.

The idea is to have a group for every niche of bushcraft and assign
people that have experience and are passionate about a certain area as
group moderators. For example for the Knives and Knifesmithing group,
Martin Hunter and Colin Wheeler have access to edit the groups page,
edit comments, create and edit discussions, and suspend members if
necessary. They also approve members that want to join the group. The
reason they are not open is that group members can group-message each
other and so it is a privilege to join (spammers will most likely be a
problem down the line so we have put measures in place)

If you have an idea for a group,
especially if you would like to moderate it, please let me know.

Ideally the network needs to have at least a Firecraft and Tracking
group (with plenty of content) before we launch. Ideas for other groups
welcome!

This is a chance for anyone to develop an area where they have have
knowledge, and also to join groups to expand your horizons. Contribution
and sharing expertise is what this is all about!
