Bowering Resource Locations

Just a few questions i want to ask people here. What are the laws reguarding stave collection? Hoping to gather a few sapling staves while we go up north early in 2012.

And particular locations people recommend?

Cheers

Definition of a stave - A stick basically. Well somethimg more substantial that a stick. I would consider it between a stick and a log. Not necessarily a natural 'stick' growth. If you google image, bow stave you will get a few pictures of logs which have been split into thin bits.

I started up a discussion topic in the bow-making group on here and i've got a few people active on there. Turns out i didn't return with anything. Join the group and check it out and feel free to post up questions or anything.

Hey Sean,

I realise that this is an old post and it doesn't look as though anyone got back to you. I'm curious though; what are staves?  Sounds interesting.  Did you get to collect some up North?
