Hi James,
the bows that I have made are from privet.
Seems to be a reasonably good bowwood in my opinion.
Check http://paleoplanet69529.yuku.com/topic/34061 for more info. on where it was sourced etc.
When you say 'lemonwood' do you mean Tarata- Pittosporum eugeniodes?
If so I have no ideas if it is any good as bow wood- let us know how it goes!
