If you go to scribd.com you can download this and hunting bow plans ( take down style ) also on making flatbows. Any trouble getting them I can email you wha I have found.

I have made one american flat bow, and I am on to my second one now. I looked into making different types of bows and found that the flatbow seemed easiest as you do not need to chase a growth ring, the grain is not as important, as long as it is as straight as possible. I also backed it with linen and that made the bow feel so much safer, I am amazed at the difference it made in the feeling of security in the bow.
