Is it someone who is heavily involved with bushcraft and who occasionally may eat a hedgehog?    What is the current definition?

Thanks in advance.... Coote.

Hmm to me a shrafter is a person to engages in the outdoors using old school equipment and traditional knowledge. It conjures up an image of a bushman who reads the natural world around him, the plants, the weather, the tracks on the ground. And like MacGyver he can whip up a meal using a stick and a piece of dental floss or a warm shelter without any gear.
To me a shrafter is self sufficient and full of knowledge of how to do more with less and thrive in a raw environment

Perhaps the answer is Ryan? :-)
