Hi Everyone.

I'm a newbie living on the North Shore of Auckland. I've always wanted to be able to survive in the bush and also keenly interested in learning to hunt. Keenly interested in learning about bushcraft in New Zealand.

Looking at doing the hunts course that the NZDA has and also the Mountain Safety Council bushcraft courses as I get time. Would anyone perhaps have any experience to share regarding those? Any info most happily received :)

My background is in Film, Television and Photography. I'm hoping to be able to get out in the wild and takes some good footage and photos while I'm learning everything else :)
