Hi All

My name is Tone, I came across this site from a link posted in another forum I belong to. I have discussed snaring with Stephen before, probably about 3 - 4 years ago if my memory serves me right! My 15 year old son is big into bushcraft/survival and is one of the most resourceful people I know. I am sure he will be registering here too.

On another note, just having a quick skim through different topics and areas here, I took all of 2.7 secs to click on the register button. This is a great site.n One thing I would love to learn with some profficiency is basic firecraft.

Thanks for all your kind words, great to have you on board and hope your son will join too. I am actually from Whakatane too I left to study in Auckland in 05 though and am based up here now.

Have a look around we have some great videos that can help you get started, I see you have joined the library too which is great. If you would like to borrow Stephens book Ancient Skills just let me know, it would be a great starting point for basic bushcraft.
