Hi
I'm 27 and have always loved the outdoors - having grown up in Country QLD. I mainly enjoy tramping and camping. I've taken more of an interest in learning outdoor skills since nearly coming a cropper when foolishly climbing Mt Taranaki unprepared! I've done about half of the great walks and am planning on adding to the tally in November.
I've done a bit of travelling in the US also - and can thoroughly recommend Zion and Yosemite national parks should the opportunity ever present itself for you.

Ahh Mt Taranaki... I still recon it was worth it!
What kind of outdoors skills in particular were you thinking of?
With the tramping, maybe how to make fire starting techniques, wild edibles and other plant identification, maybe some shelter construction? All these could come in handy when you are out I guess. -
